How to Build a Porn Affiliate Site

If you are looking to build an adult porn website there are a few things you need. In this guide I will explain how to setup your website and start making money with your new adult website.

Step 1: Find a Domain Name

  • There are a view good places to find adult domain names. You can either purchase new or buy at an auction.
    • Godaddy (Register new domain)
    • eBay (Cheap adult domains on auction)

Step 2: Get Hosting

  • This is very important, as this will be the first impression your visitor sees when entering your site.
    • Make sure the adult theme has an easy layout
    • Don’t make it cluttered with to many ads “crap”. You want a good balance.
    • Have a simple navigation and menu.

  • Once signed up, find content that is related to your site “niche”. Say you want to focus Asian fetishes, you don’t want to have Milf content when the visitor is looking for Asian Fetishes. (You can always have multiple sections with different categories like; pornstar, fetish, lesbian, gay, hardcore, softcore, ect.)
  • DO NOT over due it. I see a lot of adult webmasters just cover the page with banners from multiple networks. This is a no no and causes clutter and your visitor either hitting the back button or leaving your site.

Step 5: Affiliate Link Cloaking / Checking

  • It is important to cloak your affiliate links as well as make sure they are still working. I use a software called Manage Affiliate Links (ManageAffiliateLinks.com) found here. It not only cloaks your affiliate link but when your affiliate link expires, dies, is down it alerts you by email instantly. Not only does it alert you by email but it redirects the visitor to another link of your choice.
  • This software above is good if you are running special promotions and when then expire I usually just redirect the visitor back to the porn site home page or another promotion. This way you are not left with the visitor seeing “Sorry, this promotion has expired”. I see 40% increase in sales because of this software. I Highly Recommend it!

Step 6: Advertise

  • You have a few options with advertising your adult website.
    • Banner Exchange
    • Search Engine (Paid) - Find Search Engine Coupon Codes here
    • Search Engine (Organic Traffic - Free)
    • Purchase Ad Placements on other adult sites
    • Place your ad on PornAffiliateNetworks.com
